Terrariums are a handcrafted, one-of-a-kind, living forest that you can hold in your hands.

They are a fully functioning ecosystem, containing an assortment of plants, mosses, stones, driftwoods... and tiny, wingless arthropods called Springtails.

Springtails fully self-regulate and play a vital role in maintaining the health and balance of the terrarium by eating mold from decaying plant matter.  These amazing little helpers are safe for plants, pets, and people.

Terrariums require little care. Seeing fog and condensation on the glass is a sign of a healthy water cycle, and will clear up on its own.  If you no longer see condensation at regular intervals, lightly water your terrarium using a fine mist or dropper of distilled water.  Use a clean cloth, cotton swabs.. to wipe the inside of the glass after watering. If the condensation does not disappear for more than a day, open your container for a few hours to overnight.

*It is important to not overwater, and to keep out of direct sunlight.

Your terrarium is a mini living world, and the life expectancy cannot be guaranteed.  Terrariums can live for months to years, with oldest known surviving terrarium being planted in 1960 and still growing strong!

Includes: Clay drainage, fine mesh screen, charcoal, custom soil mix, Springtails, live mosses, and may contain asst. small plants like peperomia, frittonia, ferns, polka-dot plant…
